Initial setting: this patient has very worn teeth and wants to improve her smile.
When the lips are at rest, the teeth are invisible, resulting in dental wear.
Intraoral view. Glued ceramic restorations are indicated to strengthen the teeth and improve the smile.
A resin mask is made to simulate the aesthetic and functional changes planned. The outline of the gums should be modified to lengthen the teeth "upwards".
Once the project is validated by the patient, the teeth are prepared through the mask in a minimally invasive way, in order to receive ceramic crowns (laminated glass ceramics), recontoured during the same session.
Postoperative view from the front.
Side view
Close-up on the central incisors: the junction between the gum and the ceramic is natural.
The state of surface is very marked according to the desideratas of the patient.
