Preoperative situation: cavities developed under a non-waterproof composite.
After removal of the composite filling and of the dental caries, some of the pulp is exposed, which normally requires complete devitalization of the tooth.
With the help of bioceramics, it was possible to perform a"pulp capping" and thus to preserve the vital tooth.
The tooth is then closed with a composite filling.
